The body of Christ received a gift from God when Apostle/Prophet Gregory L. Hawthorne, Sr. was brought into this world.
Chief Prophet G. L. Hawthorne was born in Bartow, FL to the parents of Jimmie & Barbara-Jean Hawthorne and was raised in a small town by the name of Waverly, FL.
As a youth he had to overcome what appeared to be overwhelming obstacles, as one trial after another was placed in his path. Henceforth, it was by divine appointment when he acknowledged and accepted the call of God on his life.
During this time, Chief Prophet Hawthorne was under the leadership of Pastors Johnny & Elizabeth Smiley, (COGIC) as a Deacon. The Great Man of God began to go forth, as the Lord allowed two great women of God to minister God's words into his life. They began to prophesy great and mighty things that God was going to do through him as he humbly submitted to the calling of God. Within a few years after the prophetic words had been spoken, the Lord began to manifest the promises that were made.
The Lord spoke to Prophet Hawthorne and told him he wanted him to evangelize; he wanted him to go out into the highways and by-ways and compel his people to come. Due to the prophet's obedience, God then ordained him to meet his awesome wife, prophetess Lisa J. Hawthorne. The Apostle then accepted the office of an evangelist and the Lord used him mightily. God bestowed upon him an outpouring of a Prophetic Anointing, that now rests upon his life.
The Lord used the Prophet & the Prophetess mightily, as they traveled abroad spreading the Good news of Jesus Christ, prophesying and laying hands under the anointing of God. The blinded eyes were opened and the deaf began to hear; many demons and devils were casted out, all by the power and authority of Jesus Christ.
The Prophet has traveled internationally, as well as, throughout the United States preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He has preached at various men's conferences, appreciations, marriage seminars, grand openings, and other engagements.
The Dynamic duo both walk in the five-fold ministry, which allows them to walk in the office of an Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, & Teacher. The Prophet & Prophetess are the overseers of six churches that range throughout Florida, Georgia, and New Jersey.
Chief Gregory and Prophetess Lisa Hawthorne's philosophy to life is: " There are no big I's and little U's in the kingdom of God, we are all in this thing together, so let's get the job done for the Lord".
